
Mary Insprucker is known in her community as “Mary for Cary.” She’s a neighbor, a volunteer, and a leader who has spent decades serving others in local classrooms and national organizations.
Mary’s not a career politician. She is a professional communicator, has served in the classroom, built community, was Director of one of the largest nonprofits in the Midwest, and has always believed leadership means rolling up your sleeves and helping people directly.
Consultant to Cary, North Carolina, Board of Directors for the American Red Cross, and service with Habitat for Humanity, Make-A-Wish, and Special Olympics.
Religious instructor and Wake County Public School substitute teacher, where she saw firsthand the needs of our students and teachers.
Award-winning writer, journalist, and media professional — interviewing leaders like Colin Powell and Maya Angelou, producing Triangle 411, and contributing to UNC-archived anthologies.
Honored with the Chamber of Commerce Community Enhancement Award and Habitat for Humanity Media Relations Award.

Mary has spent her life in service because she
